Al Qaeda Terror Strikes Thwarted in U.S?

In President Obama's Afghanistan speech last night (11/30/09), he said

"This is no idle danger; no hypothetical threat. In the last few months alone, we have apprehended extremists within our borders who were sent here from the border region of Afghanistan and Pakistan to commit new acts of terror."

If in fact that statement is true, its good to know that Al Qaeda's efforts to strike within the United States have been thwarted but it leads to two questions.

Doug Bandow, Phil Giraldi and Larry Madison and I joined forces to create the American Conservative Defense Alliance in 2007 in order to promote a more realistic and Constitutionally appropriate foreign and defense strategy. We were joined by Peter Gemma who will be doing development for us and Jesse Benton who will be doing media. Our advisory board is an impressive list of center-right people.
