Attack on the Pope/ Security Training

On Monday the 28th, I took an in-service for my PPS registration as required by the State of Virginia.

Storm Mountain Training Center

In November of 2008, I took a  private handgun training class at Storm Mountain Training Center in WV.  I completed the course and  then tested and qualified for the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security Handgun carry permit. That will allow me to carry under State contract internationally.

DC V. Heller, Second Amendment, Guns and Self-Defense

Thanks to Dane Von Breichenruchardt, U.S. Bill of Rights Foundation, I was invited to a private meeting this past week in WV with Dick Heller and other pro-second amendment advocates. The meeting was held at Michael Meador's house who is vice-president of EFI which is a firearm manufacturer (07 FFL / 02 SOT) located in Inwood, WV.

T.A.C. Training: Tactical Arrest and Control

I attended a 2 day seminar at Jeff Godon's MMA Academy in MD in September 2008 with Professor Pedro Sauer. It was a tactical seminar for law enforcement. It was a good seminar and I learned a good bit from the professor as well as the guys I trained with over those two days. I was the only non-law enforcement person in the seminar

Personal Protection Specialist

HSLEADER is creating an operational department HSLEADER-Security which will offer executive protection, private investigation, business intelligence, counter-terrorism training and facility security assessments. I received training by the Executive Protection Institute, Class 62 and became a registered Personal Protection Specialist through the State of Virginia.
