The Transpartisan Center is organizing and hosting a book talk by Jim Turner and Lawry Chickering on their new book entitled "VOICE OF THE PEOPLE: The Transpartisan Imperative in American Life "  in October of 2008 in Washington DC. 

I attended a two day transpartisan retreat in Baltimore MD in September 2008 on transparency in government related issues. It was a continuation of the retreat that I attended last year in NY also hosted by OMB Watch. It was a great opportunity to think through with some very good people from across the political spectrum on what we would expect from the next administration after Bush. Some of the other groups that attended included the National Taxpayers Union, U.S.

I attended a 2 day seminar at Jeff Godon's MMA Academy in MD in September 2008 with Professor Pedro Sauer. It was a tactical seminar for law enforcement. It was a good seminar and I learned a good bit from the professor as well as the guys I trained with over those two days. I was the only non-law enforcement person in the seminar

While I was in Arizona this month (September, 2008 ) to give a talk on medical legislative policy issues at the AAPS annual conference  I got the chance to spend some time with Jesse Ventura.  Thanks to my two friends, Karen Winfield and Sen.

I have been interested in cutting edge thinking in medicine and healthcare for a about 25 years. My first introduction to new paradigm in medicine came in the very early 80's when I used to read East/West Journal. It was also my first introduction to alternative thinking within psychology and spirituality as well.
