DC V. Heller, Second Amendment, Guns and Self-Defense

Thanks to Dane Von Breichenruchardt, U.S. Bill of Rights Foundation, I was invited to a private meeting this past week in WV with Dick Heller and other pro-second amendment advocates. The meeting was held at Michael Meador's house who is vice-president of EFI which is a firearm manufacturer (07 FFL / 02 SOT) located in Inwood, WV. EFI specializes in custom, highly accurate handguns and rifles for competition shooters, law-enforcement, and military applications. It was a great opportunity to learn more about the case, to learn about next steps and to spend time with some old and new friends.  I also got the opportunity to play with some very interesting firearms including sniper rifles.  I am planning on doing some firearm educational work with Mike Medador in the near future including being trained on some of his weapons.
