I had breakfast with Bob Fuller http://www.breakingranks.net author of "All Rise" and "Somebodies and Nobodies" in September in Berkely while I was out in California doing some work for Reuniting America and visiting with my new friends Joan and Wes and their family.
I was impressed with Bob as a person and his ideas on creating or supporting the creation of a new dignitarian movement that would help us move beyond what he calls Rankism http://www.breakingranks.net/weblog/rankism and its destructive nature. He calls rankism a social disorder which I would agree with if it is limited in definition to a social malady and not a psychiatric diagnostic category. There is a lot of abuse of power and position in various realms of human acitivity such as in business, education, healthcare and politics. I appreciate the fact that he does not oppose heirarchy just pathological heirarchy. I would encourage my friends to read his new book "All Rise" which is available http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1576753859?tag2=breakingranks-20
